How does it work
The Process
- You register for FREE. Carefully read our terms & condition, if you agree with all aspects of it, you sign it and return to us along with your registration forms. Please allow up to 2 months before you expect an Au Pair at your door. This is not something to rush into!
- We go over our list of Au Pairs, who have all been interviewed in their home country by our staff, and thoroughly find the most suitable candidate. We will always try to give you more than one option – subject to availability of course!
- At this point it is down to decision time. You inform us which one you have chosen and you will write her/him a letter of invitation. If the Au Pair is happy to accept we will send you her/him complete details, including childcare and character references, medical certificate and police checks.
- Now it is time to have a chat, we will organise the best time for you to ring your Au Pair and get to know them just a little bit better.
- Before the arrival of the Au Pair we will send you a complete Aurora Pack – which include all the information you will need along with some helpful advise and tools (message board, emergency numbers, welcome gift).
- The Au Pair is now on the way – she/he will organise their own travel but we expect the family to greet them at the point of arrival.
- You are now a big happy family, all getting to know each other. It can be an overwhelming time so remember we are never further than the other end of the phone and we are right there for you holding everyone´s hand from start to finish!
